LOL I remember those days of hiding my truck/paintball mods from my parents. Oh wait that was like last year for me LOL.

I've done that before .... my brother threw me under the bus with my tinted windows. My mom never noticed until he slipped .... fml.

These next mods will be very noticable unfortunatly.

The performance mods were so easy. My mom doesnt have the ear to hear an intake under the hood .....

Does she not want you to touch it? Or just not spend money on it? You might be able to tell her you painted it as project or something. Perhaps even the tail lights...

At least your problem is not wanting them to know you have the parts... mine is "the wife" who does the financing and watches the bank accounts.. I might just have to hook myself for cash as to not leave a paper trail...

Spending money on my truck is a dirty habit apparently .... you'd swear I have taken up cocaine or something.

And yikes .... there isnt much to avoid a paper trail unless you have a local yard where you can get parts. Ill just wait till summer, and when they question it I will just say someone stole my chrome and put this black crap on my truck.

You can store them on my truck so I can see if I like them!!!

Or maybe we can set up a weekend that I can install them to see if I like them! So I can be on cocaine also!

LMAO, that is the way to do it. I used to mod and not tell the wife but that failed as she would notice anyway.

The wife "What is that whistling sound?"
Me "What do you mean?"
The wife "Did you install a turbo while I was at my Moms?"
Me "No Dear."
The wife "Pop the hood."
Me "The hood latch is broke"
