No offense, please don't take this the wrong way, but would rather it be one of the larger lift companies, as opposed to an individual.

Do you have a facebook 06dak287? I know we could make a lift...my tax refund should be coming in (=$$$$), I just need time between school and work. If others won't make it I know I will.

As for Dave, I emailed him with a description of the stock suspension as well as what would be needed to do a 6" lift on the front for 4x4 and 4" lift in the rear.

In the mean time, I'm still going to work on my own, and anyone who is competent and seriously interested is more than welcome to help.

lol you act like if a "big company" decides not to do it, your getting your money back...you wont. I understand not wanting to shell out money to an individual but whats different from someone that knows how to do it and works out of a garage than someone who knows how to do it and works in a warehouse? the name? i can give myself a cool company name and make it sounds legit too. lol

Yea desert_rat i do have a facebook. search for cody grossman in LV

I would rather have a "homemade" sticker on my window than a company's sticker who isnt paying me a dime to advertise.

warranties on what? lol the R&D process. if he sends a big company a check to pay for the cost of materials and labor to design a kit. half way through they decide its too cost affective to continue. you really think your getting that money or materials back? thats the gamble of R&D. and youd be suprised at the experience some of these big companies have...most of its just computer design. and its not like im asking for a bunch of money for materials lol. i would rather have someone that lived close and didnt need their truck to leave it with me while i test fit and weld (not on the truck, stuff on benches)

Like I said, I asked you not to take it the wrong way. If I have offended you I apologize. With a large company I can make a contract, and they have lots of collateral to back it if they take my money spend it and don't give me what I asked for in return.

Yes I would make sure that if I gave them my money they would be making a kit or giving it back NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT.

I have not met you, dont know your skills, ect. If I pay a larger lift company to design this, and the I put it into production because they wont, and someone gets killed because a component fails, a larger company will have the collateral to pay for that type of mess, as they designed the kit. Again, no offense, but I hardly doubt that you would be able to cover such expenses if you are having trouble making the kit on your own.

The larger compaines simply wont make the kit because they dont see an incentive, I was trying to give them one, in such a way that I would make my money back AND we would have a kit for our daks.

There is alot more to it than just the sticker, and the name, I want to make sure my A%% is covered. Especially if I am going to shell out this kind of money.

Again, no offense intended.

On top of that in your last post you pretty much stated that you were not interested in money, but rather a truck, I am in missouri, so the truck part as far as mine goes aint going to happen. Are you asking that I buy another dakota for you? Maybe I am missing something here.

I'm talking about the parts you make in your garage failing after you "finish" the kit. It doesn't just stop at r&d imo
