RPM's
I have an 07 3.7l club cab 6 speed. When i have it in neutral and rev it up ( for some nice sound ) it takes forever and a day for the RPMs to wind back down. is there anything i can do or replace to keep from this happening. Thats probably the only thing i dislike about the truck. Does anyone else have a V6 that does that?

I doubt it's the clutched fan - it would only serve to drag the engine down faster when your foot is off the gas.
My '07 3.7 V6 also takes a long time to rev down, particularly on cold mornings. I've just chalked it up to the electronic throttle mapping. The throttle body is always a beat slower than the gas pedal, both getting on the gas and lifting off.
2007 was the first year for electronic throttle on these trucks.

No offense, but that does not have much to do with a "hanging" decell of rpm speed. My 3.7L did not do it with the factory clutch fan with 80K on it, before I went to the e-fan.
To the orginal poster: I think Cramerica is right, look into the electronic throttle stuff. My Dak is an 06', last year of the "real" throttle cables.
