Program key with no working keys ??

Default Program key with no working keys ??
I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota 4x4. Nether of the two keys from the factory work.
Any info available to program a new key(s)? The key has black plastic head with panic, lock and unlock.

sorry man, you will need the dealer to program the keys if none of the current keys work. I think it takes 2 keys to program a new key.

My dealership said they would reprogram my keys for free. Batteries died on them and now they do not work. Not sure what is wrong with them, never got around to the dealership yet.

will it lose the memory from changing the battery? what size battery does it take?

mine didnt lose settings when I changed my battery. but it didnt sit dead. I was losing range, so I switched it out.

Battery in mine is a CR2032

Mine have been dead for over a year and I am sure that is why I lost my settings
