I will start out soft and run around 10-12. hopefully next spring I will be able to play with internals and compression and run more boost. I want to get a season of tuning in before getting aggressive with it.
Hopefully you can get a solid tune with some good cams and make great power with an N/A setup. It would be great to see what these motors can handle with a nasty cam.
Was....I am lucky ;-) I've been pulling down 12-14psi of boost for over three years on a stock bottom end. I've done a ton of research and I know these motors inside and out.
I find it easier to fill up the bottle, 32.00 for a 10lb bottle is cheap. Next truck will have a 6 cyl in it, gonna see if the gang from my buick grand national club can help me out, I have seen some sick 1000 hrspwer grand nationals at the track, Now that would be a vicious killer.

You can put down some stupid numbers with nitrous but theres nothing like having a few lbs of boost on tap at all times.
Posted my old turbos and some extra DSM stuff on a few sites today... Have my eyes on some TiAL goodies. A nice wastegate and blow off valve. Also eyeing a Precision Turbo
