When you charge the same price for the mid size truck as you do for the full size truck, you doom the mid size truck. You'd think they'd realize that.

I paid $26,800 for my '04 Ram 4x4 Hemi QC new off the lot in spring of '04, sticker was $35k.
My cousin bought a new '08 Ram 4x4 Hemi QC at the end of '08 when the brand new 4th Gens were just starting to hit the lots and they were dumping the leftover 3rd Gens. He got it for $24,000 and the sticker was $42,000.

Crazy, isn't it???

$16,999 is what I paid for my 05 V8 4X4 with the Laramie package. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Best purchase I ever made.

I knew somebody that had one in college, they're built very cheaply and much more light-duty than our trucks are. Not sure what the rating would be with the 5.3 but I wouldn't tow anything near what I would with my Dak using one of those.

Yes, they are pretty small inside, no way they could make it stiff enough and balanced enough to tow like ours..

I was in an S10, ranger, and mazda b4000 before. When I got this dodge I was in heaven. Although the S10 was very comfortable and had tons of leg room and such, it drove too much like a car for me, had a very low seating position.

The sad thing is, from what I am reading, Dodge's next small pickup may be a unibody SUT style... Dodge Ridgeline anyone? Daddy's Soccer Truck... lol... sigh.

I paid $22,800 for my '07 4X4 SLT QC with the sport appearance package and the 4.7L brand new off the lot. I bought it in march of '08. The sticker price was about $32,000. There were 2 there for that price, both SLT but the other had the chrome package on it and it was white.

To show how slow the dak market was I had checked the dealer in October of '07 and those same two trucks were there at full price. The only two daks they had on the lot. 2 very nice trucks sat over 5 months (that I know of) without a buyer.

Hey HammerZ71, couldnt help but notice your ram air cowl. I love that thing, but cant justify paying the $700 Ive seen them go for. How much did you pay for yours?
