I have superchips programmer with TM, and they are not compatible with each other. I have heard people like the mod, but I like have more control over every shift with my programmer.

If you don't have a programmer I think they are great. I have a Sonnax and I love it

My conflict with the TM tuning and Sonnax may have been due to a failing trans pressure sensor. The sensor was replaced and the filters were changed and there was no more slipping, so Im not sure if thats why mine would hold in gear. Ill never know .... the SC TM tuning shifts good for me.

^ nice pic ^ (rengnath)

ive never had any conflicts using both, the sonnax stiffened up the shifts more than the superchips alone would. i did have to turn up tm so it wouldnt break my neck tho,

Thanks Alex.

Yeah, the Sonnax is actually a "safer" mod than Superchips, but some would argue that increasing pressure isnt always safe. Ill explain quick.
The 545-rfe already shifts firm from the factory, but the reason you cant feel it is due to the torque management. They can yield a safe, soft shift so thats why its that way.

So by decreasing TM, you are technically putting more stress on the transmission because more power is sent from the engine to the drivetrain during the shift. I doubt its anything that will cause any problems, but it is more "stress" on the drivetrain.

Now the Sonnax will reduce more slipping in the transmission during shifts, therefore giving you a safe and firmer shift. However, the pressure lines in the 545rfe are already pretty high, and you are just adding more with the Sonnax. But, people have run both with no problems yet.
