shorty antenna reception bites donkey *****. I have an 8" antenna and it sucks, cant imagine how bad a 3" would be.

the antenna is pretty cool... I don't ever use the radio anyways

Autozone didnt have a tool available to rent, and I was too cheap to buy one offline. They do have them available though.

Reception sucks with both, but its not too bad with the amplified antenna in the headliner. It still gets some static under bridges and stuff.
