Default Trans Cooler

Picked up a trans cooler from the U-Pull - Off a '96 I believe, but I'm not sure. Installed it today in about an hour. Well, everything but the fluid lines.

I cleaned the unit inside and out using air, carb cleaner, and a flush of fluid, once each way, then blew it all out again with air.

Had some old galvanized brackets around that I beat and banged on till I could match up with the threaded holes on the existing rad. Added another at the bottom that matched up with a hanger for the splash pad below.

I cut the pipes off to help it fit, "mandrel" bent the pipes to suit. Mandrel was a piece of PVC pipe that looked like a good radius. I just need to measure for the trans lines and tap them in. I'm going to use the ends of the aluminum pipe that I cut off the cooler to do the transition from the rubber hoses to the existing. See the pics.

I'll take the die grinder to the brackets to clean them up, once I'm sure that everthing is working.
