Ditto Raven...all they do is add unnecessary weight to the truck! If you leave the resos on and just replace the muffler, you will affect the sound quality of the performance muffler. The resonators are there to cancel out the exhaust "waves" and make the truck quieter.

You're gonna love the sound. I left the front resonator on at first, listened to it in the shop, and it sounded REAL quiet. Only a little bit louder than stock. So I drove it out and around the block, right back into the shop, and had the front resonator removed, then I was extremely happy!

Well, let me clarify something. The rear resonator was removed while the muffler was installed. So no resonators are on my truck, only the muffler.

same here. I installed my magnaflow myself. used my dremmel to cut off the clamps that were rusted and then took a sledge and just pounded the sh@& out of it till it came off. Had to have a custome flange made to go from the magna to the stock pipes off of the headers. Overall not too hard for not having a clue what I was doing, lol.

FYI, the truck is on jack stands, the cement blocks are just for back up.
