HAHA yeah a few people mentioned that when I showed them the pics, so I had to clarify. I keep toying with the idea of getting real headers and have true dual exhaust, but for the time being I am enjoying it. Once in awhile its a little annoying when Im on the highway and trying to use my speaker phone, but Im thinking of tearing out the interior and dynamat the whole thing this summer.

Someone on another forum is fabricating some longtube 4.7L headers. Something I might try later down the road. I would have to make extensions for the O2 cat censors.

thanks for the tips boys i think im just going to cut all the sh*t off, measure what i need, and just go buy 2.5" piping at advance auto + abunch of clamps as needed. you think i can "weld" on my magnaflow chrome tip with a torch or will it need to go to the shop? also since i dont feel like starting a new thread..is there any easier way to upload pics to photobucket from my phone? they give me an email address but its too long to type in my phone. i would like to be able to get more pics of the dak up here of recent mods such as interior leds, new headlight/fog lamp bulbs, 14" antenna, painted rear diff, etc

What phone do you have? Some of the new android phones have copy/paste features. Other phones though, I have no clue.

When I put my cherrybomb on all I did was take out the stock muffler and put in the new one but I'm thinking about cutting off my one resonator and making it a side exit like wteboy's

I, for one, want to do this same procedure but lack the time right now. The weather's not helping much either, right 06Dak?! Let us know how it turns out!! Especially me as i need to stop at an auto parts store and pick up some of the same parts you're going to use and would like to know how difficult it was before i make up my mind and just bite the bullet and spend the $$$ and go to a muffler shop. I'd rather not though. Also, isn't there a couple of bends in the piping you're going to cut off? How will you compensate? Does the pipe sold at the auto part store's come with a flare so you can slip it on and clamp it? Obviously, i'm an amateur when it comes to working on exhaust.

if you have a smartphone, there is a photobucket app. I have one on my droid. makes it really easuy to upload pics. Otherwise I'm not sure of an easier way.

from what iv noticed layin under there its pretty much a straight system i think there may be a slight bend by the last resonator but im not sure. i know this will sound good but i kinda wish i did a single in dual out muffler and bought like two 60 degree pipes to look like wteboy's. that side exhaust does look bad@ss. Im thinking about doing this most likely on sunday. my phone is a samsung impression, the only problem is they give me a long email address for my account and my phone doesnt let me type an address that long

hmm..dont know about that phone. You have to have a smart phone to use the app and the app does not require any email addresses, it just uploads directly to the site.
