$250 thats how much i got quoted today to remove 2 resonators, 1 muffler and install new muffler and tip along with pipe for the 2 resonators and all welding included. 3 different muffler shops all with the same quote. Are they kidding? Thats ridiculous!!! Guess i'm going under the truck with my sawzall!! 06dak, any luck yet with your install?

they usually charge by the weld, around here it's average $25 per weld. for example, when I had mine welded up it there were 6 welds so it was $150 for JUST the welding. so your paying the $100 to do all the labor of removing the old system....

i didnt do it yet, no time. but yesterday my boss and i took one of his land rovers down to a muffler shop the next town over and they installed new mufflers in about an hour for i believe a good price. I might just hand it over to them because i need it welded anyway. never hurts to have some spanish guys do sh*t labor for you right? (; im still waiting on my chrome tip to come in then i might buy a 12"pipe for the first resonator and give them that, the muffler, and the tip. gotta get an estimate first though
