Thanks brother. Differential cover is on and filled with oil/LSD additive.
Tranmission is in and bolted up. I've got to replace a couple of fittings but were almost there.

Thanks guys. I"ve been building the tranny under Mike's supervision for about 6 weeks now. We just started tearing stuff apart and I decided I wanted to finish the Tranny also. The truck has been on the lift since Monday and the two of us have been putting about 8 hours into it everyday.
My drivetrain mods are now....
Stage 2 545-RFE (Red Eagle Kit)
Stage 3 Valve Body (Build by Sharadon)
Edge 3000 stall
Aubrun LSD
3.55 gears.
Still got to test out the new 224 cams and the new Novi2000 will be here next week.

Same novi as in the Silver Dakota of your buddy's right? BTW, NICE buildup man. What kind of tricky things would a newb like me run into if I put an Auburn in mine?
I already have 3.55 ratio. Sure kills my low end though... I doubt I'll ever have as much HP as you. What's a good ratio to go with for these trucks if I wanted to see a bit more lower end response without feeling like I'm in granny gears?

An open diff and a lsd are basicly the same thing. They both have spider gear but the only difference is the lsd has clutches and spring packs in it to aid in the "posi" traction action. Here is a link that will explain everything.

Got everything back together and it shifts great. I have to park it for now, I damaged the retaining teeth in both of the transmission line quick connect fittings (52119547AA) so its slowly dripping tranny fluid. New ones will be here tomorrow hopefully. As soon as I have them swapped out I will throw up some new videos.
Not only can I build engines/boost setups, I can install gears/differentials and rebuild a 545-RFE.
