I noticed mine didn't have ABS in it's first snowy day. I slid a bit without that all too familiar crunching sound of the ABS. Looked for the electronic controller later that day and couldn't find it. The build sheet I just got confirmed it. No ABS. Open differential. Full tow package!

 

Wow that sucks! I am sorry to hear that. On a side note, I have ABS up front. When I had to slam on the brakes this winter I could definitely tell lol.

 

My truck came with abs....in the rear. No abs in the front.

However, I actually love not having abs. Now that I think of it, the only vehicle I have ever owned with abs is my wife's charger...and I hardly drive it.

Back in 2008 I bought a mint 2006 Trailblazer SS. Three days after I got it a damn deer ran out and impacted the passenger side behind the rear door. I stopped and the deer was flopping around. Two to the head to put it down let me exact some revenge. A buddy took it and salvaged some meat. Somebitch caused about $2500 in damage. Thankfully I only carry a 250 deductible.
