I did mine but I sandblasted the OE chrome and really got some tooth but even after a coat of DPLF epoxy primer and a single stage enamel topcoat, rocks still chip it right down to the blasted chrome.

My suggestion is to find a painted grille and scuff and paint.

The paint is starting to chip on mine after 6 months as well..

Thanks for all your help guys. You have talked me into NOT painting my grill. I'll just leave it chrome or buy an after market one.
