Default Finally Fixed My Bumper!

Woot after a couple hours of plastic welding, bondo and sanding I finally fixed the damage my wife did to the bumper. I'm also ditching the trim and covered over the holes.

The Wife's carnage.

My repairs.

I will let it dry tonight and tomorrow and put it back on Saturday.

The wife ran it off the road into a snow bank a couple of months ago. I've been waiting for it to warm up so I could paint it. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

I was never happy with the slight shade difference with my front Grille so I repainted that also.

And put another coat on my back bumper.

Plastic welding rods. I used a dremel tool to make a groove, then used a heat gun to weld the strips into place. I used a disc sander to even it out and touched it up with bondo. Sanded it smooth, hit it with sandable primer, base coat, top coat and clear.

anybody ever tried to put fog lights in those lower holes in the bumper? I was thinking about something like this:

I recall someone adding the factory fogs, I think they had to go to the dealer and get the PCM flashed to turn the option on. I guess they are computer controlled or something.
