Default Wheel Bearing

So my 08 with 25000 miles needs a new right front wheel bearing, anyone having problems with theres? It seem kind of foolish that this thing needs a wheel bearing at 25000 miles. I dont ever remember needing a wheel bearing on my 00 dakota and I drove that thing from 40,000-100,000 miles.

165K on my 1992 Gen1 Dakota without even *servicing* the wheel bearings, let alone replacing them.

I had the left front go out early as well, like I started noticing it around 10k and had it replaced at 18k or something like that... if you search I am sure I have it listed around here somewhere

Every truck is different and has its different problems early and such, like my shocks havent failed yet like most and so on.

My 05 went at 16,000, then again at 35,000. I made the dealer replace with aftermarket, and replace the spindles on there dime. Now at 68,000 no issue.

everyone: replace your factory junk with ANY aftermarket brand and get twice, 3 times the wear out of them. I understand guys with warranties need to get factory stuff, but the factory stuff that replaces the worn factory stuff wont last any longer that the original factory stuff thats being replaced. Kapish? CHRYSLER FACTORY FRONT END PARTS ARE JUNK! Stop replacing junk with junk! Like eimer said, make them replace with aftermarket...i will step off my soap box now...

Man, I sell auto parts for a living and i can you storys about hiw people jump up and down for oem parts. No oem manufactures their own parts. They all contract the manufacturing to the lowest bidder in most cases. OE parts fail for a reason, good aftermarket companys will re-engineer thier parts to fix common oe failures unless the oem has a patent in which case they will buy oem parts and rebox them as aftermarket.
