That is correct thunder, and I didn't say he didn't know what he is talking about because he's got a low post count. Just not down with feeling like something joined with the sole purpose of being an armchair fabricator acting like he could build it a better way. And when there's only been 2 advertised 2nd gen long travel Dakotas. And I know the guy and the girl that have both of them. Unless he's keeping it secret, I doubt he's got anything. So if he wants to go ahead and build a 3rd gen long travel kit. Kudos. Bu he's no better than anyone else by saying I should be getting better spindles and using a "better" more expensive shock. For no one that even has a long travel kit for a 3rd gen. There's no room for anyone to be picky

Easy guys... this type of stuff gets people "time outs."

Settling this through PM's would be best.

I'm not a mod/admin anymore, so dont take this as a reaming or anything... but I do know how the staff works and am just trying to keep everyone from getting into "trouble"

Well on the other hand, since this is a projekt dirt thread, the HD helm steering upgrade will be done real soon! Projekt dirt staff is on a road trip right now so once we get back our tubing should be in and ready for tig

I'm currently out of the country with limited internet access (sux bad), so another moderator fail....sometimes written words can be taken the wrong way. Like Eric said, use the PM feature if you guys need to hash this out.

...somebody call the "whaaaaaaambulance". Holy hell, how did I miss all this?

I have to say, I am extremely excited about the PD kit. My personal opinion is that if someone wishes to start a custom fabricated project for a vehicle that has ZERO aftermarket support, that person has my full attention, respect, and support. I've been on DF for a few years now and know most of you in the 3G section. In the time I have been here, I have only seen a very small handful of new members jump on here and start the sh!tfest. Objective opinion, questions, suggestions are why we have forums. However, jumping on here and flexing the internet muscles (when you have just arrived) doesn't fly with most of the members/mods.

Hey lootown, you got the newer dak? Do you know off your head if there are any differences between the 05-06 and newer trucks? As far as steering dimensions and parts and suspension? I need to know if I should advertise as 3rd gen or just 05-06?

Thanks
