Haebar: Still waiting on your fix on you truck and if it is still working. Sounds like two different issues taking place and mine so far took a different fix. So far it's working. I'll give you the final this week as to what may or may not have fixed the issue. Later RJD

RJD: So far mine is still working. This last time I took it in they they changed the module FU 14086001. I'm not sure what that is but he said that last time they changed the sending unit and this time he said that they were changing the sending unit AND the pump or whatever it connects to in the gas tank. So far I haven't had a bit of trouble out of it.
Good luck with your's. I will let you know if mine screws up again.

Haebar: Thanks for the info. They replaced my fuel tank as they said it was deformed in the area where the fuel pump and float go. So far it's working. If any thing changes I'll let all know. Later RJD

i have the same problem with mine, as soon as it gets to a half tank it drops to empty (even on the overhead) they told me my fuel pump was acting up and they replaced it. didnt work. dont think its the wiring cause when it drops it gradually goes back up

brandon_will9: They have about replaced everything they can on my truck that can be. I'd tell the dealer to replace the fuel tank as that has seemed to correct my problem so far. They had a couple of factory reps out and they determined the tank was deformed in the area where the fuel pump and float sit. So far the fix is working on our truck. We will know when we get to a half a tank again. The wife just drives to and from work about 10 miles per day so it takes awhile to use up the gas. I will keep you all posted as to this last fix. My gas guage has been working fine since they changed the sending unit and the pump at the same time. No problems so far. How is your's turning out? Later Haebar

Haebar:Well we made it through a tank of gas and all is well now. Got down to 1/4 tank with no issues. Filled up yesterday so it looks like it is finally fixed.

Sounds like I may have had the worst of issues to correct the problem. I'm glade it is finally working.

brandon_will9 Hope all works out with yours also. Messes up again may tell them about the other fixes mentioned here. Later RJD
