Lucky in SOuth FL it doesnt matter a lady I hit sued me for the maximum my insurance would give and she got it. Worse part she didnt have a green card or drivers license

Typically, liability is on you, if you rear end someone. Which means if you rear-end someone, its your fault no matter what. However, certain things can change the scenario, like: tail lights that don't operate (which makes no sense...because when you rear end someone and take out there tail lights, how do you prove they didn't work to begin with?).
By the way, this applies to everyone. Yes, it is a fact that MuddinBill stated the lady operating the Focus didn't speak english and she is hispanic. In no way should anyone start the racial profiling.
MB, I'm glad no one was hurt. After a very serious head-on collision in my day, the first question is ALWAYS safety.
