Front sway bar disconnects
This has been discussed several times on the lack of availability for off roading components for our trucks. I'm sick of it. Thus, I am going to create a sway bar link that features a quick disconnect system. At first, this seemed impossible based on our configuration. But I just drew up a solution last night. I will need some time to aquire components and test for durability. This kit could potentially double as a factory replacement for daily drivers as well that don't feature the quick disconnect.
What do you guys think? Who's interested? I would like to have a number of potential serious buyers, just so I can get an accurate price from vendors on bulk discounts and what not.

Ok guys, good news. I've found the rod ends that I'm going to use, and I've developed a very inexpensive way to complete this. It won't be as pretty as the other stuff that is out there, but very funtional. I will try and get some of the peices in and get photos soon.
How many miles do you have on the truck? I'm at 106K with the original bushings from the factory. How are you going through sets so damn fast?

Barely 70,000 and all the bushings and sway bar stuff was done under warranty! The best part is I was in last week with the typical rattling and bumping noise and the said all it needed was a tightening of the sway bar and a week later the rattle is back! I have seen the issue a few times on the forum and for all the BS with these I have not even had the truck off road, for all intensive purposes it is on road all the time with a little bit if towing.
