dealer oil?
Yeah. Mobil 1 EP here, I change it every year, which winds up being 10k-12k miles. I would run it to 15k if I had too.
We have been doing yearly changes since the early 80s on the Mobil 1. Have had long life engines thus far.
Started this truck at the first oil change, 3000 mile mark. Then changed in M1 EP and have been doing yearly changes since, so it has only had 5 or 6 changes and it has about 56,000 miles on it.
Since I have had engines up into the 200,000+ mile mark doing yearly oil chages with M1, I know it will go the distance in this 3.7L V6

I drive about 15,000 a year on my dodge, maybe 3000 on my offroad rig. It too would be nice changing the oil only once a year. I bet a dakota with synthetic and proper maintenance could do 275k-300k before a major rebuild... Well hopefully at least.
