Total waste... I had a Jet II. Only recorded a .02 sec increase when piggy backed to a Mopar Perf PCM 'n I can't even completly credit it with that 'cause I was playin' with tire pressures at the same time.

'Cat Back' is just a term loosley thrown around ... meaning replacement of the exhaust plumbing aft of the cat converter. Muffler and exhaust pipes... 'may include larger diameter pipe, re-routing, and a less restrictive muffler. The cat is still the cork in the bottle, so if you can find a less restrictive cat... or better yet a pair of cats... 'bout 3" in-out like Catco for your downpipes to an X-pipe then to the muffs and the shortest route possible to the tail pipe termination. Usually... all of this stuff with the muff is just to make noise... regardless of the performance gain. All that makes little difference w/o a set of headers to effecively scavange the exhaust gasses... so replacing the entire exhaust system 'engine back' is the way to go. I've done that twice to this truck now. It's runnin' GSM/Spintech true duals from the GSM headers back. GSMotorsports.com Get your credit card out! My original set up was Mopar/Leach headers, 3" Mesa cat, to 3" x 2 x 2.5" Flowmaster 40 series muff... also had a cutout w/22" collector before the muff. If ya want 'sound'... get a Flow 40! Oh BTW... that Airaid TB spacer is a total waste onna EFI engine. This may not make the sponsors happy... but they're useless.

jet stage 2 worked very well in my 4.7. most people dont know that after installing chip you need to start and turn off engine 3 times to tell ecu that there is and upgrade. this is why people think chip dose not work or have very limited thought about the power gains

anytime i put a new mod on my truck, i start the engine and let it idle for 10-20 minutes to let the ECU "learn"

works for me i guess

should you disconnect the battery like some mods say, air filter for instance to clear the ecu?

Yes, unplug your battery before you make the switch on the CAI. This is suppose to be done regardless. Stage II after the CAI.

I have the Jet stage I. This module does work with the 05+ 3.7 and 4.7 models because they are detuned from the factory unlike previous models. I have noticed gains with it on and a decrease with it off. You should only go to a stage II if you can lower your operating temps. I.E. thermostat or electric fan.
