Default Exhaust idea for my next project

So I went really cheap with my exhaust that I have now, but my next revamp will be a big change. This is the idea I have for now and I want to know what you guys think.

True dual with highflow Spintechs or Magnaflows, full custom headers, and a sawed-off shotgun exit out the rear, not staggered or tapered.

It will be full 2.5" from the headers back and probably with an "H" or "X" pipe before the muffler, which will be a dual in/out Borla Turbo XL

Here's sorta the look I want for the exit either through the bumper or just under it.

Get a roll pan and cut into it so you have those shotgun pipes either going through it or just indented into the bumper. Just a suggestion but I think it provides a cleaner look, holds your pipes in place and looks better than pipes just sticking straight out the back (:

Yes, like the new rams. Love the indented bumper.

You read my mind. That's the plan eventually, hard part is that roll pans are illegal here, sort-of. Whatever replaces the bumper has to be as strong or stronger than stock. So if I can reinforce behind the rollpan, they can't say anything. My idea is to use 2 rows of 2" steel tubing welded to the frame with angle-iron going from the end of each tube to the frame rail about a foot back. Might modify a used aftermarket jeep bumper. But that's a long ways off, and a few threads away. So is this idea for that matter, but I'm in the "research" stage of this project, and won't be starting it for almost a year.

Merci ostie d'Québécois!

I was going to look to see who made a 'straight out the back' passenger tailpipe, you just cut my search time down.

Dynomax 47788 <-- this one, right?

http://www.dynomax.com/part_view.php...420&engine=4.7
i order the tailpipe seperately (#number was in the catalog at muffler shop)
with a dual in dual out 2.5'' dynomax muffler (i dont recomand this muffler i have a lot of surface rust on it)and if you absolutely want the dual exit on same side maybe if you order 2x passenger side tailpipes it MAY fit? i am using the standard setup.

Yeah exactly, like the new Ram. The reason I really like roll pans on our Dakotas is because the rear bumper is so prominent..and let's not get started on the front bumper -_-
