I hear ya on the FTW. Working on front ends can **** you off. Had to break out a grinder for the pitman arm on my car recently after snapping my puller on it.

everyone keeps talking about front end problems. I've had my truck for 5 years, lowered for 3 and I have had no problems. I'm pretty sure that the Dragon is the lowest non-bagged truck on here.

Some trucks can go awhile. Others last 50k give or take. I don't understand how some of them can make it forever without issues. I guess it's just a gamble and I was one who lost lol. Tie rods went around 30-35k too.

Can't wait to get this going. Now what sort of tools should I need to do this job? I really want to be able to do it in my driveway, only garage that I can borrow is a few miles away and don't want to drive the truck if the alignment is too far out.(if any). I maybe SOL and have to anyways.

For the lowers you will need a ball joint press. You can rent one from any auto parts store. For the upper a-arms, just wrenches to got the attaching bolts and nuts.

Should I need air tools or no? Not very rusty, I can soak in PB blaster a couple nights before?

Also want to do my leveling kit. Anything required there?
