Anyone have one, I picked up one cheap, got to test it out today. I found with it on motion it doesnt work the best (Takes lots of short clips 5 seconds - 2 minutes). Might just put it on perm rec when driving, instead of motion.

Where did you get it? I know GoPro's are popular but pricey..looks like a fun accessory to have for the weekends!

 

GoPros are a win for just about any kind of POV type stuff. we have 2 and we use them for soooo much. they work damn well as a dash cam too

 

I got it off Ebay, There are LOTS of them on there lol
It came with the Camera, Mount, USB cable and 12v Power Cable (Cord is like 12' Long to) Its the same connector that most GPS units have, So I plan to use its power for my GPS when I use it (DVR has a battery, but mine only lasted a few hrs I also left the LCD on lol)
I bought a 16GB Micro SDHC Card, I think it gets 7hrs Record time on its HD setting.

My phone doesnt take the best videos (not a superphone lol)

Yes This setup is ideal and the price point is perfect. The picture quality is spot on too.
