I am wondering how the white plastidip would match my paint, with that glossy enhancer. or the black plastidip with the silver on my wheels to give it a black candy look...

Default Ive used it

I have used plasti dip to convert my chrome grille and headlight chrome accent to black using the plasti dip spray in a can. It dries very fast about 15 min a coat and takes about 6 light coats for a nice even layer. Good thing is if you dont like it you can peel up a corner and take it all off. I have also used the plasti dip on my dodge and dakota badges on the tailgate.

Well now that I have a gray gel coated hood, I picked up some white plastidip from ace hardware (they now sell craftsman tools btw) and I will apply that as an experiment until I figure out how I want to handle the paint situation. I may do the grill in white, but I bought black for my grill, and the bumper seeing what is left over.

So here is before plasti-dip

And after 7 cans of white and two cans of glossifier

I also did the wheels in black with 2.5 cans, I just sprayed them mounted right on without masking anything. Got a little on the rotors but it didn't interfere with braking. I just rolled back after a few coats and sprayed the other side.

ya it took 7 cans, and probably would look better with one or two more. I was tired of having a black eye.
