Default 06 Dakota SLT quad cab

Hello Everyone,
I've have an opportunity to purchase an 06 Dakota with 104,000 miles on it for $10,000. It's very clean inside and out and it just had new brakes and rotors all the way around. I know that's not a lot of information, but do you think this would be a good deal or should I keep looking for something better? I've been itching to by a dodge for a while and this truck just really caught my eye. I will be trading in my 2000 ranger on it and I've been told that I can get 4 to 5K for it on trade.

What other features does it have? V8, V6, Auto, 6 Speed, 2wd, 4x4.
I paid 8.5k Canadian, a year ago for my 05 ST Club Cab, V6, 2wd /w Tow Package. Only had 82k km, or 51k miles. But that is also a ST Club Cab, not a SLT Quad

Take a good look at its front end parts, As they are a common failure point on these trucks. Also does it come with a Warranty?

It is a 4x4 with a V8 auto, all power inside, tow package, bedliner and cover. The vehicle seems to be in excellent condition.

It will just be a daily driver and family vehicle, not a work truck. I want to keep it looking as good as it does now and even make some additions to make it look even better.

Not sure where you're from, but if your close to NJ, this is the truck that you want to buy!

2006 Dodge Dakota R/T V8 HO

He was asking $13,000, nobody bought it at that price. Then it went on Ebay, and the reserve price wasn't met. Who knows how motivated of a seller he really is.
That's a nice truck though, I'm surprised that it is still available.

Well according to Kelly blue book..it can go anywhere from $8200 to $15,000. the low end is fair condition tradein and the high side is perfect condition full retail.

I've got to tell you that by the pics of that truck compared to the truck I'm looking at, the truck I've seen is nicer than that. Thanks for the reply and pretty much making up my mind for me.
