Well Heck, Tried the Dr Tranny stuff put over hundred miles on truck, still have problem.
I have seen that there is a differential recall for 09-11, just had mine replaced, but mine is 08 built in late 07.
I will now be making some travels to trans shops for opinions, stay tuned

Still have problem..Here it is Mar 2013 the problem still exists. Have talk with others and no solution.
Have forgot about this forum, so thought I would report back. I read that no one has found a fix yet and others have posted same problem.
I actually asked about disable the cruise control as it could be the problem
even though it is not engaged. I was told many things tied to this and can not disable just to test it. I don't understand but maybe someone else does.

Time Marches on...

Wow, seems my problem went away. I didn't even hotice until this thread bumped up and I realized that I haven't been annoyed by that chugging. So, I have been paying attention to how the truck has been running in the problem speed range, thinking I must have just got used to it and no longer noticing it. I don't know when or why, but, it seems to have just gone away. Not sure whether I should be worried or happy (lol).

I fixed the issue - traded the Dakota in for some German engineering. :-)

It was a German company that almost ruined Chrysler with penny pinching, and then dumped it when times got tough (*cough* Mercedes-Benz *cough*).

That and the German brands tend to have just as many problems as the rest anymore (look at the most recent reliability studies). Nothing wrong with Germany cars, my wife is a BMW and Audi fan, just saying that they aren't any better or worse than anyone else anymore.

I will say this... NEVER use an additive on our transmissions. These are sensitive beasts, not as bad as the ol' 46RE/RH and 42RE/RH, but still sensitive. Nothing but ATF+4 should ever go into our transmissions. At best, its a temporary solution, at worst, it will cause more problems on top of any you may already have.

If you're refering to the trans problem, no. I changed TPS, MAP, IAC, Crank position, and Cam position sensors. No change in the way the trans was acting. But, if you read my previous post you'll see that it just went away.

I still have my problem. I have not worked on any solution lately. Because so many have the same problem,I would think that some dealership or management would have found the problem, maybe have and we dont know about it as yet. keep chugging along!!
