I ended up buying the 2006 - 44,000 miles, 2wd, V8, 6 Speed Manual, just picked it up friday - my drive to work is 44 miles round trip, all highway. I'll be curious to see how it does. The guy did put a CAI on it, not sure what that will do for fuel economy, but well see either way.

Good choice. As others stated, the V8 usually only takes away 1 MPG compared to the V6, and offers far more power.

I have a 2006 SLT 4.7 6spd manual 2wd. I also have the 3.55 rear. Around town I tend to get 14-15 MPG. On the highway I will get 16.5-17.5MPG. I also went through the 3.7 vs 4.7 debate when I bought (I bought mine new) and since I tow my car periodically I went with the 4.7. I don't regret the decision to with the 4.7, I also have a Flowmaster cat back system on which sounds nice.

Default Here's a pic...

It's a crappy cellphone shot after I got the tint done:

I was thinking about going with the flowmaster dual setup to compliment the K&N CAI the previous owner put on, is it a pretty easy operation? I see lots of claim of increased mpg with CAI and Exhaust, but I can't believe that...

I envy your rear sliding window... you should paint the bumpers black like all the cool kids.
