I bought some of these back in July when my other ones were in need of replacement. Pretty much avoid doing this if you can, doesn't seem to hold up worth a hoot. Now everytime I hit a bump my whole front end just rattles away... sad face.

That is all..

I've never had a problem with Prothane products and I had a full set installed on a Neon R/T that I had, including control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, end links, etc... They were good products.
What part number did you order? I don't see where Prothane makes a specific bushing for these trucks...
When I see that bent metal, I see improper fitment, leaving play either between the bushing and the mount, or the bushing and the bar. It looks like the bushing was allowed to twist or shift to one side and allow the bar to put force right on the mount and bend it. It has nothing to do with cheap or soft metal. I could be wrong, but I just don't think it's the right bushing. The OE bushings and the Moog replacements I've used on my truck have much more bushing material on each side of the mount that doesn't let it move. This is visable in your pic where the rust line is where the original bushing was sitting. I'd just take them out and put it some OE spec(Moog) replacements.
