Default MyGig question

Real quick, do any of you know if any Chrysler MyGig will bolt right up in in 3rd Gen without modifying the wiring harness, plugs, etc?

Thanks

I think most Use the same Wiring Connector, But it also depends on the Year of the Dakota, and Year of the Part.
Also I think if you have a stock radio, some features might not work, like GPS, Sat Radio, Ect. Not sure.
2005-2007 Dakotas have the ***** on the Side
2008+ Dakotas Removed the *****

I know other Vehicles also had the *****, My brother 2008 Compass did and others it was removed after aswell

Yea mine's an 08, so the face plate isn't an issue. I just don't know if the wiring and plugs are interchangeable. I also know from some people who own Durangos that their speakers are wireless. Does anyone know if that's the case in Gen III Daks too, or is everything hard wired?

in the 08 the mygig is plug n play, but you have to have a low speed bus mygig, a high speed will not work in the dak

This one came from a Chrysler 300. After a quick search, it appears those are a low speed bus setup. So hopefully it will work. It has no nav but idc about that.

i just put a non nav in my ram, i like it, the only thing that kinda sucks tho is no bluetooth/uconnect, it has to be added on, (witch i did) much cheaper to buy the nav unit if you want bluetooth, i would also recomend the lock pic too, you can have dvd in motion, back up cam, a/v input and out puts, i had mine set up with digital tv channels, and the abilty to hook up the PS3, it was pretty fun

I added the the mygiglockpick to the wife's '08 Dakota. It was the only way to add an interergrated backup camera. Also upgraded and got the full Iphone integration as well.
