Hey, just a question, does the reprogramming work on a 2008 dakota as well the same way or should I consult the manual?

If you have a manual for your 08, use it.

Default Seat belt chime issues

Thanks for the pics. Although in a different location it only took a minute to find the problem and 5 minutes to fix.

Default Thank heavens!

This damned chime was haunting us for hours and ruining our what was supposed to have been a glorious few days off in Malibu!

Thank heavens I finally thought to Google this forum! Changed our mood for starters. Then I took to two posts in particular and solved our problem!

1. Latched the passenger's seat belt despite No one sitting in that seat.

2. Used the reprogramming Post.

Our contorted muscles and irritation are no more!

Namaste.

Default 2004 Ram 1500 I want to cut the chime wires in the dash cluster

Does cutting the wires to the chime in the dash cluster put a stop to the annoying chiming?

Couldn't tell you for a Ram. You should post this question in the Ram section. This is the Dakota section.

I Tried everything as well but I did notice a new code pop up for the passenger Knee Bolster and found some info stating it can cause this but still investigating
