Default my 05 slt ext cab audio build up

this will be the total build up of my truck from beginning to end. its not organized in order of beginning to end but its close. ended with the wall of subs gots me kinda loud for what I was going for.

This truck is a daily driver, I spend alot of time behind the wheel, or did when I built this. SO.... I wanted to enjoy what I enjoy, LOUD MUSIC!!! and this is the build up from start to end, started with smaller systems, and built up to this one. and they all were temp systems until all my big stuff got in.

Not sure of the build up just yet, will be a temp system for the time being.

but on to some pics, of the equipment I do have currently.
UHOH>>>> WHATS THIS?

meh potential

this is random, but an electric wheel chair, guy was a speed demon, so he put a redtop on the front to gain speed!

my temp 15.... Prototype.... just for me to be able to say YEP it is!!

looks warped but its just the rubber mounting gasket thats lip was pulled around too much from box removal.

what I call a 2 way setup...

The box. currently its 6.5 cubes tuned at 35 htz with 96 sq inches of port

will hold 2 15's. down the road, but just 1.. for now... maybe 2 dd 9515's on about 4k rms... right behind my HEAD!!!..

45's in every corner.

AND WHAT I'M FIGHTING WITH FOR TEMP.... THIS MAKES THINGS AWEFUL IN A NON AC'D GARAGE AND THIS IS AT 9:30 IN THE MORNING....

MORE PICS LATER WHEN STUFF STARTS SHOWING UP.

well here is where the battery box will go in, BUT here is 2 runs of + and - both 0 awg.

001.jpg

002.jpg

004.jpg

003.jpg

Secondary ground in the back down to the frame.

018.jpg

now, this was the old unit. out with the old

in with the new

009.jpg

and with it playing some Family Guy on dvd

014.jpg

015.jpg

this is the battery box. will be bolted down

016.jpg

Will also probably have a false floor mounted over the battery bank, and mount my amps there. I have a nice tonneu cover that goes on the truck usually. but now that I'm pulling the battery box out to redo it, gotta get it fixed.

017.jpg

what will go into the box. I'm missing 1 more battery that will be here thursday,

they float at 13.2 on current charge.

and this charger is awesome!!!! has a voltage meter on it, and has a battery % charge, and has 3 different setting for different battery types, for standard, gel, and agm, also has a small large and starting setup. also does an alternator amperage output setting.

and was only 75 bucks.

021.jpg

got the voltage meter fixed. and back in

well. Got the box full of batterys. and realized.... I won't be able to get all 8 in there....

but mounted the box anyways.... and didn't like it..

here is a few pics of it.

the space I'm working with,

what the box looked like with the batteries installed.

didn't like what it came out to... so started with this,

July-11_1701.jpg

and this is about 60% finished. the setup will hold all 8 batteries up front, and hold my 2 1000.4's as well as the one Crescendo 3k that will be here on thursday. I will have a plexi window there with some led's inside there. Would have finished this, BUT the weather got REALLY bad... so will continue tomorrow.

How it looks from the back, will be making a beauty panel to cover the back side there, and probably glass in some speakers there on a toggle switch. so when I'm at a show I can chill there. Might add a few things down the road. but for now this is what I have instore.
