Default Water in drivers side floor board

Recently got a 2006 truck. After a super hard rain recently I found a lot of water in my drivers side floor. There was almost a inch of water sitting there. I let it dry all up and then started my search for what the problem was. Pulling all the carpet out and looking I can see this has been going on for a while as the floor is rusted. More investigation on the internet and looking didn't really give me a great idea of what it could be. So after fully dried I took a hose and started slowly going around windshield and kept moving. I found that when on the lower drivers side of windshield when the water would go over and down the door or into engine the leak started back up. It looked like it was coming in from behind the bluetooth module. I pulled it out and there is a slight wall that, that module is attached to. just below where the wires from run in from the door. There is almost 3 inches of water sitting in there. It would show water on the floor after it overfilled and came out.

I still can't figure out where the water is coming in from. It appears to be behind the quarter panel somewhere between the door and firewall. Any ideas how this could be? THere is a LOT of water getting in so it would seem to be a pretty big hole, but I just can't figure it out.

I can take pics and show what I'm talking about if needed, but hoping someone has some sort of idea.

There have been quite a few member with similar issues, including me, read the threads below,
my issue is explained in the first link below, post # 23.

Also, the bottom attachment is a TSB that was issued by Dodge about water leaks.

Two things.

1.) Was the vehicle ever wrecked? If yes, something is bent and not right with the body.

2.) If no, check to make sure there isn't a seal missing from the cowl area somewhere. I had a 2003 Buick Regal I was fixing for my Step-son and water kept getting in the passenger side foot well. It ended up being a seal underneath the windshield wiper shield/plate that pulled away and needed permatexed.

Well #23 could be it. But it did seem like it was coming in lower. When I pulled the cowl off you could tell it wasn't going behind it cause lower winshield was still dusty and dirty. Water had not gone that direction. I guess it could be going down the door and then into the dash area. I'll try and grab some pics tonight. But there is no way I"m going to be able to pull the dash like this. That is probably beyond what I can do.

Do you have a sunroof?

It's possible that there is a cracked weld or rust hole up on the firewall, under the dash, or towards the quarter panel area on the left side. Below is that same picture, and you'll see the whole dash looks like it is sealed up in various areas. The arrow on the right side may be the possible leak source, but on the left side of your truck. Hopefully your issue is something different, and can be found and repaired much easier. There are a bunch of different areas on these trucks where the water finds it's way into the cab, as you can see in the TSB that I attached above.

The beginning of that TSB looks like the areas that you need to check first.
