Question Same code, different problem (P0457, P0522)

Hey all,
I've looked on this site before in regards to a problem i've been having with my Kota and i've only seen one other person with the circumstances almost the same as mine:
Started with a bad gas cap (maybe) because it threw a "GASCAP" reading on the dash with a P0457 code. Replaced the gascap with a mopar brand for 20$, still getting the gascap reading and code.
I also read into replacing the purge valve: Did that (cost me 50$), no go. Also had the local mechanic replace the Fuel Vapor Leak Detection Pump (located in a groove on top of the gas tank so it had to be lowered. Part was around 15$ and thankfully they only charged me for a half hour of labor so i only paid 70$ for it)

I'm still getting a P0457, and now a P0522 code for the Oil Pressure Sensor (cost me 15$)

With the elimination of the mentioned EVAP related parts replaced, anyone have any ideas of what else could be causing that 0457 code?
Much appreciated

It could be the NVLD (Natrual Vacuum Leak Detection) pump, some members have had similar issues, and replacing it resolved the issue.

It's possible that in 2007, Dodge switched from the NVLD pump to ESIM (Evaporative System Integrity Monitor) system. Read this for more info.

One of the articles you mentioned is actually one i've seen with the most relative problems of mine. Had the NVLD replaced (Fuel Vapor/Natural vacuum leak detection pump) replaced, sits right on top of the gas tank in a groove attached by two hoses and a plastic rivet. Still getting a "gascap" reading and P0457. I'm thinkin i may have gotten a defective gas cap even though it was claimed to be mopar. Guess i'll make a trip to the dealer and just get another.
