Probably I tried the release handle and pushing it back up before and it seemed not to want to to move up anymore, and the light had already left cause it wasnt on completly like it was this time.

The dings got annoying and I said **** it and pryed, I dont like trying to force things in fear that they will break even more haha, mustve developed that with the 98 ram I had

Default Update on rear drums

So I finally got around to doing it, got the drivers side all redone, but I open up that passenger side and I'm missing some hardware and there is just black grease all over the place, can I get some advice on that?

Buttoned up

Looks like you have a wheel cylinder leak at least. Get yourself a drum brake hardware kit. They sell them at auto parts stores and will come with all those parts.

Replaced the cylinder, think it may have just been that since I saw it drooling some black oil junk. Just need to bleed and she'll be good
