Both of the airbags will sent shrapnel throughout the cabin. Both need to be replaced under recall!

Maybe...depends on the dealer. Tell them what the symptoms are and ask them to check the firmware for the latest version. Mine charged $140 to update the PCM last year even though the TSB clearly states that it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. :/ I don't recall the miles you have; but, it also might be a good time to drain and refill the transmission fluid (and change the filters).

Make an account on www.mycarfax.com. Not only can you track your maintenance on the site; but, after adding the truck's VIN, it will tell what open recalls you have on your truck. It's possible that the previous owner already had one of them done. But, yes, both fall into the Takata airbag recalls.

Good work with the brakes.

Thank you, I have my carfax, its had its air and oil filter replaced at 106k, currently at 108, 305.

Although, I do have a transmission leak is what my dad was saying, it's making a noise. My AC was just a button I had misinterpreted as something else, nothing wrong with that, and I still have to blow out the washer lines.

On this sheet it says it had a recall but no where does it say it was addressed.

Parts may not have been available just yet.....

FCA should have a site where you can enter your VIN, and pull up any open recalls.

FCA website would be a better place to check to see if the recall work has been done.

My owner's manual says that the transmission fluid and filter should be changed at 120K miles. You're close enough to that (and since you bought it used), that I would definitely say it's a good time to have it done. Having a leak only reinforces that need. I would do that before having the PCM checked.

I will do that next then, hopefully that PCM will fix that brake light randomly flashing on. Hopefully after these things I can start putting money into customizing it a bit haha, I really likes how that one looked in the pictures forum where the tailgate inlay is one color and then the rest was black or so? That looked really sharp

Brake light on the dash or one of the three rear lights? Either way, I'd get that resolved. If it's on the dash, I'd start with the brake fluid. Is it dirty or contaminated? Is the master cylinder low? Might be a good time to flush the brakes and give them new fluid.

Do you use your parking/emergency brake? If you do, it might just be the switch at the peddle that isn't returning. I've had to teach my kids to give a little tug on the peddle with you toe as you are pulling the release handle. Just a thought . . .
