Default Solid Red Dot lit, nothing works, after changing brake switch?

So I replaced my Brake Stop Switch and it triggered something and now there is only a single red dot lit up on my dash, everything else is gone....there is nothing. Help?

I think that's the security light, and it shouldn't be staying on..... Owners manual doesn't talk about what that means......

In the factory service manual section 8Q - 6.

Security indicator flashes following bulb test:
1. Invalid key in ignition switch lock cylinder.
2. Key-related fault.

Security indicator lights solid following bulb test:
1. SKIS system malfunction/fault detected.
2. SKIS system inoperative.

Do you want to run us through step by step what you did to replace the brake switch? That might shed some light on this.

Edit: if you have access to a good scanner that can show module codes (Uxxxx, Bxxxx) not just emissions codes (Pxxxx) then the issue can be narrowed down to a single circuit, wire, connector, or module.

I replaced the brake master cylinder and booster a couple days ago, everything worked fine, only the brake pedal switch remained. Keep in mind, all was great prior to removing the old switch and installing the brand new one. Once I installed the new one, I got nothing....everything went silent, just this little red light staring at me in silence.

I have this OBD2 tool, but I'm still trying to learn it. I do not have any advanced knowledge, learning as I go. So I don't know if this scanner will do that or not, I don't think it will?

So I looked up the VIN and there is nothing relating to a factory alarm system, does not have power windows, does not have power locks, no cruise...about the only thing it really has is A/C, it was ordered and spent it's entire life from factory as a "work" truck. HOWEVER, I do see an option in the list called "BATTERY RUN DOWN PROTECTION", could this be a direction to take? Maybe a wire came lose or something, battery terminal lose to trigger the immobilization garbage? And I looked into my OBD2 scanner and it does state that it has the ability to reset "immobilization" faults.

Make sure there is no corrosion on the battery terminals and the battery is above 12.5 volts. Connect the scanner and select "all system scan". That should bring up any codes that it can find. It's possible that a connector was bumped or a wire was pinched that resulted in the ignition module not communication with the gauge cluster or the bcm.

UGH lol, I hooked up the scan tool and it told me "failed to communicate with ignition control module", so it can't sync :-/. Which it has in the past.
