So I need to replace the plugs on my 05 V6.....any ideas on a good plug to use? I'm running the K&N 66 series, so I need a little colder plug than stock....
i just replaced my plugs on my 05 4.7 sunday. 25000 and the electrodes were almost gone. went with the autolitre ap5224 platinum.
seems to run smoother at idle. cant say i have a improvement in mileage yet. but the performance is still the same as was with the factory champions
Changed mine out at 19K. I used the Champion Truck plug 4071. It is just a little better than OEM and has a larger copper core. I have almost 1K on the new plugs. I think the engine runs smoother, just my opinion. Use some air to blow out dirt around the plugs before removal and change the plugs out on a cold engine, also make sure to put alittle anti-seize compound on the plug threads would be my best recommendation.
