actions like those gives everyone with a loud a truck a bad rep !
well, i am back from test drive and i was impressed. so impressed i have the lump on the side of my head to prove it. making a left turn i decided to juice it. back end broke loose all over the place and when the truck finally hook, it jerk my head against the seat belt holder that hangs from the roof.in side the cab. but it was worth the money and the 1/2 hour of install.260.00 with an 80.00 core charge. so for 180.00 i got more power . and i dont care what people say. this mod is worth the money and who pays over dans price is ridiculous,

First of all ,it isn't good for your vehicle to punch the throttle goping around a corner , that is a typical new driver action . It is also very dumb and unsafe to any other drivers on the road. If you want to drive it that way, take it off road ,! There ia a time and place for that type of driving ! You are lucky to just get a lump !

I guess I wont mention the times I have spun my truck around in the middle of intersections from being too throttle happy .....
Bigger (but not too much bigger) thottle bodies rock. Im getting a fastman next week. I like the one I have now and there is definetly a difference in that top end. I cant wait to get the new one though. I just cant decide whether to do 68.5mm or 70mm. Dan says the 70mm will give me about 1 extra hp, but I lose some low end torque. The question is how much torque ....

To those who have been having problems with the throller on all Dodge Rams, I got a message from my insurance that maybe you might want to read and I have attached it as follows:
Engine and Engine Cooling
Recall Number: 06E024000
Dates Manufactured: Jan 0001 to Jan 0001
Number of Vehicles Affected: 44386
Date Owners Notified on : Jan 0001
Certain replacement K&N Fuel performance kits, P/Nos. 57-1509, 57-1511, 57-1511-1, 57-1517, 57-1517-1, 57-1527, and 57-1530. Also, a small percentage of these kits were sold under the MOPAR performance parts brand name (P/Nos. P5007069 and P5007070). All kits were manufactured from April 20, 1999, through September 23, 2004. These assemblies were manufactured as replacement equipment for certain Dodge pickup trucks and SUVs. A small piece of material from the tube wall could be sucked into the engine throttle body, which could cause the throttle to become jammed in the open position.
Consequence of Defect:
A jammed open throttle could cause unintended acceleration of the vehicle, possibly resulting in a crash or increased stoping distances when breaking.
Corrective Action:
K&N will provide owners with a free repair kit along with repair instructions. The recall is expected to begin during April 2006.
If you have a recall listed:
1. Verify before you repair. Your vehicle may not be part of the recall.
2. Locate your VIN.
3. Contact your dealer or Manufacturer.
4. Get repairs quickly. Don't risk your safely.
5. Keep a record of this repair.
