I got mine and put it in today... I calibrated the g-tech for the dak and ran a befor and after install...
I ran the quarter in 15.56 without it (in snow but on dryish pavement). and made 163RWHP and 169RWTQ
I ran the quarter in 15.18 with it (in snow but on dryish pavement). and made 181RWHP and 189RWTQ...
I honestly didnt think it felt like it made that big of a difference... IT does feel a lot more torqey, but the big difference is throttle response.
I think the 'stat helped with the numbers. and I cant be too sure if they are right. thats whu I am wondering what you huys got out of it.
I thought you were supposed to get 20hp out of this thing...

My friend got one in his 2000 quad and at first it didn't seem like it was doing anything. Call jet up I guess you got give it about 100 miles to learn your truck or something like that.
RE: Jet stage 1, what did you get out of it?
well, I left my negative batt cable unhooked for something like an hour while I ate lunch and took a crap... then I did the standard reset by leaving the cable off and turning it from iff to run 3 times, then hooking it up and doing the same thing.. (cuz I forgot which one was right
) I deffinetly noticed the throttle response... but my g-tech says only a gain of like 18 or someting... oh, and for all of you who say that it wont drop .4 off a quarter, it did, I didn't believe it either, but I ran it twice and got 15.1something I think the first run may be slower than normal though... it was shifting slow for some reason. so I figure it was actually a little faster. IDK though.

Damn Eric... are you complaining? 18 hp? Is that like, not enough or something? I don't even know what I got out of it when i put it in. Glad you got it today. Wasn't sure if you had or not. I'm wondering what I got out of the new Stage II.
RE: Jet stage 1, what did you get out of it?
no not complaining... just wondering if the g-tech is right. the seat of the pants meter was saying less, but the speed-o doesnt lie. I am shifting at 5700 now instead of 5100... Does it change shift points?

I don't think it does. Try it with the tow/haul button on. The shift points seem to be stiffer. The only thing that I don't like about these trucks is the shift points. I need to do something about that. Too bad I don't have a computer program for it.
RE: Jet stage 1, what did you get out of it?
yeah maybe I never paid enough attention to it... do they make a shift kit for our trucks yet? maybe that would do it.
either way, 18 HP from 2 minutes of work seems like a good deal.

Considering that the thread I found on the Ram with the dyno was almost 25 with stock.... I wouldn't complain. Maybe I'll get a 25 hp gain with the stage II.
RE: Jet stage 1, what did you get out of it?
yeah, teh rams always had more hp for some reason... maybe dodge doesnt want us to make the big boys look dumb. Too bad we do anyway... now we just need a hemi. **drools on shirt a little**
