I'm starting to wish I hadn't gotten the AWD. I'm lucky to see 300mpg on the hiway.

I was getting about 20-21 on the hiway, but had to go at least 80 for the rush of cold air.

I have never claimed my truck is special...
I think your truck is special. Just like its very special driver!

I could probably get the same mileage as you if I drove like that but I just drive with traffic. I don't take of fast but I don't take of slow. I also put my foot in it when I'm passing on the highway as well. I usually get 17-18 mpg in mine. I can't wait for the summer blend of gas to come out because we are still on winter blend here which kills the mpg's. I figure I will see about 20mpg then.

Well, I believe you if that makes you feel better. I know that cars come different from the factory and I know what mods you have. It makes sense for you to be getting that kind of mileage.

I still think you are special though! [sm=itsok.gif]

Ran until empty today and got 427.6 miles on my tank... so 427.6 divided by 20 gallon tank = 21.38

by empty I mean the light came on. so there was still over a gollon in the tank... so its more like 22 this week...

Do I have to take pictures and post reciepts? I have never claimed my truck is special...
I'm really not trying to call you out on this and I'm not calling you a liar. The light comes on at 1/8th of a tank. That means you have approx 2.75 gallons of fuel left.At 23 mpg claimed, that means you could get almost 490 miles out of a tank of gas. That's just extraordinary.

You've got an intake, which means you're getting more air, which means you need morefuel to keep the mixture right. That's what makes more power (in theory). Which means, you should be using more fuel.A less restrictive exhaust makesan engine run more efficient,(more fuel and air do not) butI don't know if you have that. Anyway, I'm glad you're getting the mileage. I'm disappointed that I'm not.I'll consider myself officially done with this and I'm ready for the next insightful debat.

Oh and I managed to get my roll-ups tinted. Ended up pulling the windows though, which was actually pretty easy.
