Ran until empty today and got 427.6 miles on my tank... so 427.6 divided by 20 gallon tank = 21.38

by empty I mean the light came on. so there was still over a gollon in the tank... so its more like 22 this week...

Do I have to take pictures and post reciepts? I have never claimed my truck is special...

wow, i usually only get 325-340 per tank...and that's filling up when the DTE reads zero. Of course, I still only put 18-19 gallons in the 22 gallon tank, so i bet i could go another 60-70 miles...but...still...you're getting really fantastic mpgs.

i'm a little jealous.

yeah, I dont have the overhead console to tell me my MPG and DTE... kinda wish it came with it.

I guess to quell any suspicion, I will take a pic of the dash befor the next time I fill, that way the trip will show up... but I can see it now, that trip is wrong, its not possible.

Why do people question this MPG now? I have been posting it for over a month and no questions then? I would have already had pics up...

Dont read this next part like I am being smug, I am not... I am just trying to give you all insight into how I drive.
heres a little tip for those who want better mileage. dont try to get to the speed limit, just let the truck do it. I drive around like an old lady, my truck rarely exceeds 2000 RPMs... if you let the truck do the work and keep the R's low, you will get good mileage. people dont like to drive like that, but I do. If you take it easy you save money.

Dont hate me cuse I drive like I'm 100.

don't read into my post that i don't believe you...i do! with the mods you have, i can see how you're getting those mpgs...i have no mods, and i'm only getting 2-3 mpg less than you...and i'm really looking forward to the day that i can get 400mi/21mpg to a tank.

i also really, really wish i could drive like that...lol...i just have too much fun punching it off the line. every once in awhile though, i'll ride like that and watch the mpgs go up (and with the mpg computer, you can, actually, watch them go up.).

I would kill for a manual tranny... you can keep the R's sooo low... I thought I read somplace that stone was getting like 21... maybe that was before the T.B> and stage 2?

i think frenchy was doing pretty good mpg-wise, too..right in that 21 mpg range, too. he's also got a manual. wonder how he drives?

you can really, really keep the RPMs low in this truck....i run it in 3rd through the EZ pass lane to get on/off the PA turnpike at about 10-15 mph (rpms around 1000) and it's still got good power.

If there are so many people getting 20, why am I catching so much flak? With how I drive I should get atleast 3 MPG more than the average driver... if I will only lose 3 by driving like a normal person, I will just do that. I will not have to get up and leave 10 minutes early anymore...
