Any of you install it yourself? doesnt seem too difficult, specialty tools, spring commpressor and tie rod puller? I may order the trailmaster kit myself any opinions , comments? advice?

Only specialty tool you need is a spring compressor. I bought the cheapy at Autozone to do the install, about $20. I used the factory jack and did one side at a time. Nothing to it really, took a couple hours. I posted my detailed experience on herejust afterI installed mine, I will try to find that post.

Let me clarify that mine is the trailmaster kit but was purchased before the newinstructions so I used the replacement bolts and all. I'm thinking of swapping mine to the new install instructions but have been waiting for clarification from trailmaster on whether I can do that with my kit.

I heard somewhere that the truxx kit was recommended for 2x trucks. something about more stress on the front CVs.Seems that the TM kit does the same thing, though. Anybody?

Hey gatruck, im using the original setup with the longer bolts and its been great this whle time, so I wouldnt worry about it.
