Default Side by side small lift comparison pics...

I know I have shown you pics of the truck after it was lifted, but to give you guys a more realistic idea of the lift to expect, I have taken side by side pics with a 07 4x4 that has the standard 16" wheels and 245/70 tire package, next to my 06 with a 2" lift, which consists of a $85 leveling kit from trailmaster for the front, and a $25 block kit in the rear. My truck also sits on larger 265/75-r16 tires. This was done at a dealership and the lot was pretty full so I couldnt get farther back to snap my shots. The farther back you go though, the larger the lift seems to be. This is a $110 dollar lift job.

defintely seems like a dramatic difference, especially in the front.

the rear is also 2". For some reason, the picture makes it look the same, but its a bigger difference then the front is compared to stock. Cant tell ya why it doesnt show in the pic, maybe there was a dip in the black top or somthing.

I am getting a Leveling kit for my 06 Dakota, and the people at all of the shops i have called seem to think ill be able to fit 285/75/17 on it. I do want a 1 or 2" block kit for the back and cannot find one, just so that if i am towing it doesnt look goofy. What do you guys think?

all block kits are usually created equal. Mine is a universal round u-bolt kit with 2" aluminum blocks. Fit like it was made for the truck specifically, got it at autozone. There all pretty much the same. It was good steel, the U bolts, and hardware. Fit like a glove. $25. They had 1-4" blocks there.

You might be able to fit 285/75-r16. When I look at mine, I think that I could but I cant tell if it would rub up front on a full turn. I had 32" on without a lift and it fit fine with no rub. I then added the lift. Try it out.

You wouldn't happen to have the brand and manufacturer for those rear blocks do you?
