Is that the update that you can use no matter what software version you have?

cbrrider012, yes, that is correct. It is the SW for both 43.1.10 & 43.1.30 SW levels of Uconnect.

Well I tried to do this update on my D and it didnt work. IT gave me that error message saying that it was not the right software. Any other help or ideas? Also I looked behind the glovebox looking for the uConnect module and there is nothing there but the cabin filter. Also for those of you looking for the owners manual. I was one of them sadly because the dealership told me every D he sold did not have one... It is in a nicely hidden little shelf right above the glove box... But back to the subject at hand. Any more help or ideas for this? Thanks guys!

cbrrider, I just grasped on to something. You have a Durango, is this correct? If so, the module is actually behind the knee bolster on the drivers side of the dash. There is a plastic trim on the end of the dash where the drivers door opens. Pop this trim off and look inside. just above the ebrake area you will see the module. Can you please get me the PN and the SW version

The Part Number is 050646435AG and the SW version is 43.01.30. When I tried updating the software I downloaded the file onto a thumbdrive then plugged it into my ipod connection in the arm rest. I then pushed the phone button for 10 seconds and it said updating software. Then after a few moments it said that it was not acknowledged. Also I noticed that the file saved as a .cdp or something of that sort. Is that the right extension? Is there anything I need to do with this file before I save it on the thumbdrive to take it into the truck?

cbrrider, Thank you for the information. The file should have downloaded as a "UPD" file. Tell you what, if you PM me with an email address I will help you further ok.
