The steering is solid, there are no vibrations or shimmies, the key fobs work without issue and has over 8000 miles on it. The only issue it may need is that 'foam tape' TSB from the rattling mirror cover.

Perhaps you should all post your build dates in one thread with your issues and perhaps we can identify the pattern of what/when the bad parts entered into the mix.

All,

Just bought my new 2011 Citadel RWD with the Hemi. Noticed the wheel shake on the way back from the dealer between 60 and 70 mph. Guess I start on this merry go round. Paperwork says I have 15 days to take it back. Should I let them try to fix it?

Damn--what a nice ride tho!

There is a TSB on it. It can be fixed.

Which TSB are you referring to? Is there a new TSB that has come out that will fix the shimmy?

Or are you referring to the TSB for the intermediate steering shaft? If it is the steering shaft TSB.... that did not fix my R/T's shimmy.

AFIK, there is a TSB for the steering wheel shake at highway speeds. Maybe I have it wrong.

Can somebody post the TSB for the steering shaft. I cant' find it. Called the Service Manager--he stated, "Thats normal for the first couple of days cause the car has been sitting and the wheels are flat-spotted." You can't make it up.

I love the car but may end up giving the car back for another one. I have 15 days according to the paperwork to change my mind.

Will ask that the Dealer perform all TSB's (only one that I know of), change the steering shaft, and balance the wheels. Hopefully it will resolve the issue.

Here is the intermediate steering shaft TSB... Don't know if there is any other TSB that has come out besides this one. But like I said, this TSB did not fix my shake and if you go on to the Jeep Grand Cherokee forums, you will see that many others are having the same issue of the steering wheel shake/shimmy/vibration with no resolutions either ( 2011 Grand Cherokee has same basic platform as the 2011 Durango). Good luck and let us know if your dealer is able to fix the shake.

Queens... +1. That's the TSB. Same as here:

No other on the same issue that I am aware of.
