Back to the topic: You'd think Chrysler would be more coordinated between their media group and the logistics of following-through on what their media group says. The Jan 6 press release says "2nd row Captains Chairs now available". I'm not sure what "now" means to Chrysler's media/marketing people, but, to me, they lied: Still not showing up on "build your own" Dodge site, and the dealer claims it's not showing up on their ordering system either. Someone screwed up.
The 2nd row captains chairs have been available for ordering since 1/9/2012. Sales code is CFU and is an option on all models of Durangos except the fleet with the 3rd row delete. This was communicated to dealers via their daily news under the vehicle ordering system. As far as the build your own function, that site is not updated as fast as the vehicle ordering system and can take longer to show what the current availability is at any given time.

Hi- newbie here.
Likely about to buy a Durango Citadel and I am happy to hear that the Captain's chairs are now available. However- when talking to a dealer I received very vague information that the deluxe center 2nd row console was not available. Can someone tell me please if this truly is delayed and when it will be available? We will be ordering for a end of May or early June delivery as we come out of our Murano lease. I mention that in case availability time is a few weeks out...
Also- if it will not be available at order time is it something that the dealer can add later (i.e.. is the wiring there already for the charger, etc.)?

Just got my 2012 crew with 2nd row Captians chairs. Had to order it, No dealers had one with Captians, This was the first one they had seen. My family of 5 likes them, the kids are getting bigger (cars of their own) and we made the decision that we are transporting more adults. The ordered car was built within 2 weeks of ordering, and took a 2 week train ride to get to my dealer. California. This is my 3rd Durango and by FAR the best. LOVE THAT ITALIAN INTERIOR.
