For 2012 the rear view camera was dropped as part of the navigation package and is not available as a stand alone option. I checked with a new dealership that just opened nearby and they tell me it is not even available as a dealer installed option. Anyone have a different experience or go aftermarket?

Entry Navigation / Commuter Group details
$695
$11/month*
ParkView® Rear Back-up Camera ParkView® rear back-up camera assists in the detection of hidden obstacles during reverse maneuvers. ParkView is a registered trademark of Chrysler Group LLC.
I only pasted the part of the package that showed the back-up camera. This was building a 2012 RT on the Dodge site. Hope this helps.

I asssume my 2012 was built during the model year transition period when the website only offered the $395 option for 730N navigation. Now the build your own shows the "entry nav commuter group package" with 430N plus park sense and park view available as a package. Seems like it should not be that difficult to have the feature added post delivery?????? What is the difference between 430N and 730N??
